LIBYAPROSPECT – Sabha

The member of Al-Sharqia municipality in Um-Alaraneb, Ahmed Othman, said that the Battalion “Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed” and its supporting forces had withdrawn from besieging the Chadian opposition forces in the Chinese company.

Othman stated that the withdrawal of the forces happened because of the shortage in the equipment and weapons. However, on the other hand, the Chadian opposition forces are stronger as they have heavy weapons.

Othman added that the responsible sides in the eastern side of Libya hadn’t provided any support on the land, clarifying that all they had done was carrying out some military operations depending on the efforts of the local inhabitants and citizens.
