Saleh and Dughaim exchange accusations

The member of the House of Representatives (HoR), Zeyad Dughaim, had expressed surprise that the head of the HoR, Ageela Saleh, said that he doesn’t recognise the leaders of the Presidential Council (PC) and the State Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj and Khaled El-Meshri.

Dughaim added that the strange thing was that Saleh, himself, insisted on endorsing the Political Agreement in January 2016, which means Saleh already recognised the PC and the State Council.

Dughaim had also accused Saleh of making other mistakes despite advising him to avoid those mistakes. He stated that Saleh had repeated the same mistakes by adopting a referendum law by the majority of the HoR session attendees depending on illegal advice from his friends.

On the other side, Saleh, who hadn’t recognised Al-Sarraj And El-Meshri, described Dughaim as a liar because Dughaim accused the HoR members of lying, forging, and receiving bribes to amend the Constitutional Declaration.

In the same context, Saleh had called for electing a temporary president for the country in case of the failure of the constitution referendum. Saleh said that he expects the refusal of the constitution by the eastern and southern sides of Libya.
