Tripoli: More than 100 killed in the clashes



The spokesperson of the ambulance and emergency in Tripoli, Osama Ali, said, on Saturday, that one person was injured by the fall of random shells on the area of Souq Al-Juma.

Ali added that almost fifty shells fell on the district of Shurfat Al-Mallaha nearby Souq Al-Juma causing severe damages.

In the same context, the spokesperson of the Libyan Red Crescent (LRC) in Tripoli, Aiman Kashker, said, on Saturday, that six bodies were received after they were recovered from the clashes’ areas.

Sources from Tripoli told LIBYAPROSPECT that more than ten were killed in the clashes on Friday and more than sixty were injured.

The sources stated that the number of the killed people under the bombs and clashes reached more than 106 since the start of the conflicts in Tripoli in addition to more than 370 injured cases.
