LIBYAPROSPECT – Ajdabeya
The commander of Sultan Martyrs Battalion, Fadhl Allah Al-Saeity, said in a press release, on Tuesday, that 12 elements of Daesh were killed including the Daesh leader, Mahmoud Al-Barasi, in clashes with the Dignity Operation, south of l-Agaila, nearby Ajdabeya city.
Al-Saeity said that this happened after besieging the Daesh elements in the area.
The Presidential Council (PC) of the Government of National Accord (GNA) denounced the terrorist attack. The PC stressed that such terrorist actions are against all religions. It added that after this attack, the Libyans would insist on fighting terrorism in Libya. The PC called the Libyans to unify their efforts to stand against any side spoils the security and stability in the homeland.
In the same context, the Interim Government in Al-Baida had condemned the attack, calling for fighting Daesh.
