LIBYAPROSPECT – Tripoli
The head of the Presidential Council (PC) of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Fayez Al-Sarraj, met, on Sunday, the United Nations Envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame, in Tripoli.
According to the Media Office of the Al-Sarraj, the meeting tackled the latest of the route of the political solution and the coming stage of Salame’s action plan and the security situations in Libya.
The meeting comes before the statement of Salame in front of the Security Council about the developments of the Libyan political situation on 16th of this month.
It is worth mentioning that Salame’s action plan talks about preparing for the presidential and parliamentary election that expected to be done in the first half of the coming year.
Salame’s visit to Al-Sarraj in Tripoli had come after the security tension in Benghazi and Derna.
