EU and Italy condemn the crime of Al-Abiar



The European Union (EU) called, on Monday, the House of Representatives (HoR) to start the investigations, urgently, of the crime of killing 37 civilians in Al-Abiar area, east of Benghazi.

The EU condemned the crime, stressing that it would continue supporting the political operation under the supervision of the United Nations to solve and end the crisis in Libya.

The spokesperson of the EU said that a new crime in Libya was occurred and resulted in killing 36 persons near Benghazi after some similar crimes in the last months.

In the same context, the Italian Embassy in Libya had expressed its shock for finding 37 bodies, calling for punishing the responsible of the crime.
