LIBYAPROSPECT – Tripoli
The World Food Program (WFP) said that 15 thousand families were displaced from the city of Sabratha to other neighbouring towns seeking security because of the continuity of clashes in Sabratha.
The representative of the WFP in Libya, Richard Ragan, said that the program had helped the needy and affected families in Sabratha with the support of some Libyan participants.
The aid program included providing enough food for one month for the families of five members.
The WFP aims to help 175 thousand Libyans who are unable to afford their daily food, especially for the displaced families because of the lack of food during the continuity of the clashes.
