LIBYAPROSPCT – Brazzaville
The head of the State Council, Abdul-Rahman Al-Swehli, who is attending the meeting of the African summit, said, on Saturday in Congo, that the Libyan people are waiting for the Libyan politicians to hold their responsibilities to end the current crisis in Libya and come to a national accord.
Al-swehli stated that the State Council believes that the Political Agreement is the only solution to end the crisis, stressing that the Political Agreement is still active.
Al-Swehli said that the House of Representatives (HoR) and the State Council are the two primary sides of the Political Agreement. He added that the State Council is ready for the dialogue anytime and anywhere according to the Political Agreement.
He called for the necessity of the immediate negotiations between the HoR and the State Council, then to widen the dialogue to tackle the serious issues in Libya.
Al-Swehli called the International Community to help the Libyans to stop the negative regional intervenes in the Libyan issues because it affects the Libyan citizens. He added that these interventions are trying to impose political solutions and personalities to rule Libya.
