LIBYAPROSPECT – Tripoli

The UNSMIL said, on its official website, that it “appreciates the CDA’s effort and resolve throughout the process.”
It added that “this vote is the first milestone on the path towards a referendum of the Libyan people to determine a new constitution.”
It is worth mentioning that the CDA announced, on Saturday, that 44 CDA members attended the meeting and 43 of them adopted the constitutional draft.
From its side, the High National Elections Commission (HNEC) praised this step and expressed its readiness to do its job but there must a law to organize the process of referendum.
