LIBYAPROSPECT – Tobruk
The member of the House of Representatives (HoR), Ibrahim Al-Zaghead, said, on Saturday, the appointing the General Secretary of the General People Congress in the Gaddafi Regime, Mohamed Al-Zway, as an advisor to the head of the HoR is a step on the right way.
Al-Zaghead stated that Al-Zway was benefited from the cancellation of political isolation law, which gives Al-Zway the right and others to be appointed to the general positions in Libya.
It is worth mentioning that the head of the HoR, Ageela Saleh, announced, last week, the appointment of Al-Zway as an advisor of the Arab Maghreb issues.
Al-Zway was one of the high officials with Gaddafi; he worked as the Libyan ambassador to the United Kingdom.
He also worked as the General Secretary of the General People Congress between 2009 and 2011. He was arrested in Tripoli after the Libyan revolution and released in 2016.
