LIBYAPROSPECT – Tunis
The Tunisian Prime Minister, Yousef Al-Shahid, met in Tunis, on Saturday, the French Prime Minister, Bernard Cazeneuve, and talked about the ways to support resolving the Libyan crisis according to the initiative of the Tunisian President, Beji Caid Assebsi, and the Tunisian declaration of the comprehensive political settlement in Libya.
Al-Shahid stressed the necessity of supporting the dialogue between the Libyan factions as the only way to bring back the security and the stability in Libya.
He announced that Tunisia refuses all formations of terrorism, and the readiness of Tunisia to support the cooperation to fight terrorism internationally.
He said that the problem of terrorism is not linked to a particular religion or nationality, calling for uniting the efforts of the International Community to defeat the terrorism and its financial sources.
From his side, Cazeneuve said that fighting terrorism is a common role for Tunisia and France, pointing that there is about 130 programmed operation between Tunisia and France in the issue. He added that there are 190 operations were carried out by the two states.
