LIBYAPROSPECT – Cairo
The Russia’s special envoy to the Middle East, Mikhail Bogdanov, said that his country supports the comprehensive national dialogue between all social categories to solve the crises in Libya, Syria, and Yemen.
Bogdanov stated, in a TV interview on Monday, that Russia will not intervene militarily in Libya only if the UN Security Council issues a decision on that or if the legitimate Libyan government demands that.
Bogdanov added that solving the political crises in Libya, Syria, and Yemen needs an agreement through negotiations on the round table. He stressed that “we have to respect the international fundamentals of the UN.”
