LIBYAPROSPECT – Tripoli
The spokesperson of the Libyan Red Crescent (LRC), Mohamed Al-Misrati, said, on Friday, that his teams had opened safe paths for the trapped families in Abu-Saleem area in Tripoli during the clashes that started Thursday night.
Al-Misrati stated, in a press release, that the teams put out the fire in one of the houses and saved the family, pointing that the Red Crescent succeeded in communicating with factions of the clashes to cease fire.
He called the factions not to tackle the ambulance crews so they can carry out the efforts after ceasing fire. Al-Misrati denied the news about finding 30 killed and more than 70 wounded, clarifying that his crews couldn’t reach all places of clashes, so the human losses are still unknown yet.
