LIBYAPROSPECT – Tripoli
Libyan media outlets said that the Interior Minister of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Al-Aref Al-Khoja had resigned.
A Libyan diplomatic source stated that Al-Khoja indeed submitted his resignation.
The same source said that “Al-Khoja had resigned from his post days ago, and then moved to Tunisia.”
This comes after the resignation announcement of the member of the Presidential Council (PC) of the GNA, Moussa Al-Koni, who had resigned as well, citing the failure in performing official duties, and the impossibility of implementing the Political Agreement (PA).
