LIBYAPROSPECT – Tripoli
The members of the House of Representatives (HoR) who are supporting the Political Agreement (HoR pro-PA) said that the Presidential Council (PC) had undermined the importance of the procedures that reflect their keenness on the success of the Political Agreement (PA) as a project to save and the country and end the war.
The HoR Pro-PA had accused the PC of flattering some parties at the expense of the State interests. The PC had used Libyans money through what is known as security arrangements without consulting the partners of the PA.
The HoR Pro-PA demanded the PC to reconsider its decisions, refrain from taking any further decisions that might undermine the efforts to solve the crisis.
They added, in a statement, that “they always stressed an important principle for the success of the Government of National Accord (GNA) and its institutions, which is the proficiency as the main criteria to choose the State officials.”
