LIBYAPROSPECT – Tripoli
The Libyan Foreign Ministry of the Government of National Accord (GNA) in Tripoli denounced, in a statement, the suggestion of the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, to build a migrant camp in Libya.
The ministry expressed its astonishment that Orban involves Libya intentionally. The statement considered Orban’s remarks doesn’t respect Libya’s sovereignty, while Libya wasn’t represented in the meeting where Orban suggested the camp.
The Foreign Ministry stated that it was strange that Orban talked about Libya and migration although the meeting was about regional issues related to financial and political problems that Libya is not part of them.
The ministry’s statement expressed its dissatisfaction from Orban’s statement, which might spoil the good relationship between Libya and Hungary.
