LIBYAPROSPECT – London
The Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, suggested, in a press conference on Saturday, in Vienna, that there must be a camp in Libya for the migrants.
He said that “the size and weight of Hungary do not empower me to think in these kinds of dimensions, but even without establishing a Libyan government we should put a certain part of the coastline in Libya under supervision, so as to provide care for those migrants who want to leave from there. But of course, this raises many international questions.”
Orban stated that “I say to my Austrian friends that it is not worthwhile to build a fence between Austria and Hungary. We should rather together go down to the Serbian-Hungarian border and then together – it would not be for the first time in history – together with the Austrians we should jointly protect the borders of Hungary there. It is better.”
