Al-Thani condemns occupying oil ports in Libya

The Prince of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, talked to the United Nations General Assembly, on Tuesday, about the issues and crisis in the Middle East.

About Libya Al Thani said that despite the ongoing crisis in Libya but the return of stability will take place because of the efforts of the Libyan Presidential Council (PC), which is supported by the International Community.

Al Thani stated that Qatar is working on the success of the international political solution in Libya; adding that they are supporting the efforts to strengthen the Libyan national accord.

He warned that the instability would affect the achievements and destroy the efforts of the United Nations that aim to strengthen the national consensus.

Al Thani said that it is strange to see some countries refuse the international resolution and work on spoiling the UN General Secretary resolution by force, although the resolution states to punish who carries out this kind of efforts.

He also condemned the forces that occupied the oil ports under the international silence, which cannot encourage the Libyans to fight terrorism.
