Gentiloni calls Egypt to support PA in Libya

The Italian Foreign Minister, Paolo Gentiloni, called Egypt to use its power to strengthen the dialogue between the Libyan factions in the eastern Libyan Side and the Presidential Council (PC) of the Government of National Accord (GNA) in Tripoli, under the leadership of the head of the PC, Fayez Al-Sarraj.

He said that the Italian Government and the International Community are fully supporting the unity government under the presidency of Al-Sarraj. He stressed that “we have to carry on working on reaching a consensus with forces in the eastern region in Libya and General Khalifa Haftar.
