LIBYAPROSPECT – London
The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj, said, on Monday, that Libya is ready to cooperate with International Community to solve the crisis of illegal migration.
Al-Sarraj confirmed, during a high-level UN meeting, that his government would support any international efforts to prevent more deaths in the Mediterranean Sea and alleviate the suffering of the illegal migrants. He said that this must happen under the condition of respecting the international laws, especially the sovereignty of the states by not intervening in the local issues.
Al-Sarraj added that it is time to think deeply about how to end the crisis of instability and violation and help Libya to return to the world family. He stressed that it is essential for the International Community to support Libya in ending the human trafficking and closing the doors in front of the death traders.
