LIBYAPROSPECT – Misrata
The spokesperson for the Operation “Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous,” Mohamed Al-Ghosry, said that two leaders from the Islamic State (IS) had been killed during the clashes in the city of Sirte, on Sunday.
Al-Ghosry clarified, in a press release, that the IS leaders, Hasan Al-Karramy and Walid Al-Furjani, were found killed. Al-Ghosry described them as the most prominent leaders of the IS.
It is worth mentioning that Al-Karramy and Al-Furjani, who are Libyan citizens, appeared from the first days when the IS occupied Sirte, they took advanced responsibilities in leading the battles.
