LIBYAPROSPECT – Tripoli
The Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced that it would raise the case of force majeure in three Oil ports after armies from the eastern side of Libya controlled them last few days. The NOC said that the oil exports would be resumed immediately in two oil ports.
The head of the NOC, Mustafa Sanalla, said, in a statement, that he took the oil ports from the army under the leadership of General Khalifa Haftar.
Sanalla stated that the oil export would be resumed from the two oil ports, Al-Zwetina and Ras Lanouf. He added that the decision was taken by the Presidential Council (PC) in Tripoli and the House of Representatives (HoR) in Tobruk. He also confirmed that the oil export would be resumed from Al-Sedra Oil Port very soon.
