LIBYAPROSPECT – London
The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj, told the Al-Ahram Newspaper, that the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood is a part of the Libyan political scene. He confirmed that he only excludes who resort to the violation and doesn’t respect the law.
He also said that “our relationship with the State of Qatar is a fraternal,” confirming that there is no evidence that Qatar supported terrorism in Libya.
In the same context, Al-Sarraj stated that the PC is working to form a unified Libyan Army to fight terrorism, adding that there are no foreign forces inside Libya.
He also said that any military leadership must work under the umbrella of the political leadership. Adding that this kind of system is not linked to persons, and forming a system to fit one person is something strange in the democratic regimes.
