Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous controls Indian Buildings



The Media Center for the Operation “Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous” said that its forces advanced, on Sunday, towards the district “2” in Sirte and controlled what so-called “Indian Buildings” after clashes against the elements of the Islamic State (IS).

From its side, the Media Center for Misrata Hospital said on its official Facebook page that nine of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous forces were killed and 47 injured, in the Sunday clashes against the IS.

After the clashes of four days, Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous triumphed over the IS in Sirte. They regained Ouagadougou complex, University of Sirte, Makemdas Broadcasting Center, the Commercial Bank, and the Office of Budget Prices in the city.

On Sunday, Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous forces moved forward towards the district “2” through the sea and western axes, according to the Media Center for the Operation “Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous”.

Sources confirmed to the Libyan News Agency (LANA) that Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous was able to kill five elements of the IS, who tried to attack the forces of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous in Sirte’s Stadium nearby the district “3.”

LANA also confirmed that Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous found a body of one of the IS leaders named Abul-Walid Al-Tunisi while advancing towards the Hospitality Palaces nearby Sirte Sea Port.
