Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous regains strategic locations in Sirte



The forces of the Operation “Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous”, affiliated with the Government of National Accord (GNA), announced that the controlled another strategic location in Sirte nearby the headquarter of the Islamic State (IS) on Monday.

Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous confirmed that it regained the Hospitality Palaces in central Sirte after new advances and targeting snipers and bombing vehicles for the IS.

In the same context, the head of the Emergency Room for the Air Forces of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous, General Mukhtar Fackroun, said that the number of the US air raids on the IS locations on Monday evening in Sirte are 12.

Fackroun added, in a press release, that air raids targeted locations for the IS and vehicles as well as snipers on buildings in central Sirte.

He stated that the US air strikes pounded bombing cars for the IS nearby the way to complex of the Hospitality Palaces, confirming that they were destroyed entirely and killed two elements of the IS, originally from African countries.

Fackroun also said that the US air raids targeted other IS locations in the district “One” and buildings for the University of Sirte as well as Al-Wahda Bank and the family park.
