HoR calls US ambassador to stand before it



The Committee of Security and Defense in the House of Representatives (HoR) expressed its astonishment and condemnation due, what it called it “acts of individuals,” which was carried out without any coordination with the HoR and its affiliated army.

The committee said, in a statement, that the US bombings on the locations of the Islamic State (IS) in the city of Sirte came after the Presidential Council (PC)’s request, considering it as unconstitutional and illegal.

The Committee asked the American ambassador to Libya to stand before the Committee on Security and Defense at the HoR in Tobruk for clarification about the air strikes, describing it as air breaches without prior permission, according to the statement.
