The head of the Presidential Council (PC) of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Fayez Al-Sarraj, said that ministers 0f the GNA are mandated to work and resolve the current crises because the House of Representatives (HoR) is not able to convene and endorse the cabinet.
Al-Sarraj asked the leaders of the Arab League to urge the HoR to complete its assigned dues and endorse the GNA. He added that despite the absence of the international support and the lack of possibilities, its forces (Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous) advanced in the city of Sirte against terrorist groups of the Islamic State (S).
The 27th Arab League summit was launched in Mauritanian capital city of Nouakchott, with the absence of some countries, including Saudi Arabia, Emirate, Morocco, Jordan, Egypt, Bahrain, Tunisia, and Palestine.
