Civilians injured in land mines’ explosions

Al-Jalaa Hospital in Benghazi announced, on Friday, that it received two civilians who were wounded due to explosions of land mines inside their houses in Benina and Al-Hawary.

Rajab Mohamed Al-Jarary, 65, had his leg amputated due to injuries in legs and hands. Ziad Mohamed Al-Sawy, 26, was taken to the hospital due to injuries in the face and chest because of shrapnel.

A large number of citizens were injured and killed due to mines explosions in their homes after the Libyan army restored the areas that had been under the control of Islamic State (IS). The Libyan army released alerts against approaching strange objects or houses before inspected by experts.
