The House of Representatives (HoR) member, Saleh Hema, praised the latest meeting between the HoR members, Tuesday, in Tobruk describing it as “positive one”.
Hema said, on Wednesday, that the attendants agreed to convene in the HoR next Monday, with the presence of all members, to discuss different problems faced by citizens as the cash crisis and power cuts, adding that “there should be some cooperation among members to overcome the current situation.”
The session is to discuss, according to Hema “the reasons for the current stalemate inside the HoR due to political disputes. It is important for the HoR to continue working as it is the only legitimate body remained in Libya”.
Regarding the vote to endorse the Government of National Accord (GNA), Hema said that “citizens who elected the HoR are the priority for now, then comes the discussions about the GNA.” He mentioned that “if the GNA wasn’t endorsed, then the cabinet configuration will be changed till reaching a consensual solution.”
