The commander of the Special Task Forces that affiliated to the Interim Government in Al-Baida, Faraj Egeam El-Aguri, said that he knows who is behind the assassinations in Benghazi in the last few months, and he has substantial evidence on that.

He confirmed, in a recorded and published video, which he reported that to the Attorney General and told him about who was throwing the corpses into the landfills.

Egeam added that he knows who kidnaps and hides, over seven months, in the areas under the control of the Operation “Dignity,” which is under the leadership of the retired General Khalifa Haftar.

He also denied the existence of the Islamic State (IS) elements in the areas that witnessed assassinations, calling the military prosecutor to look at these issues.

He stressed that he would uncover the facts of murders to the media at the right time, adding that he cannot talk about this now, to keep the country away from strives, especially in the province of Barqa.

Egeam announced that he is under the Government of National Accord (GNA) under the leadership of Fayez Al-Sarraj and the Defense Minister, El-Mahdi El-Barghathi, which means he is not affiliated with the Interim Government and its PM, Abdulla Al-Thinni.
