The vice president of the Presidential Council (PC), Ahmed Mitig, said that the electricity company is to ease put loads of the capital Tripoli to the least as possible, in the long term to end the crisis.

He added, on his Facebook page, that the Presidential Council (PC) of the Government of National Accord (GNA) met with the company to end the problem. He said that “we listened well to their problems, they thoroughly declared a lot of technical details related to current energy output and defection.”

According to Mitig, “the electricity crisis is one of the major and sensitive problems the PC faces, given all pressures it causes for Libyans, electricity was on top of priorities we discussed, just like security and financial issues”.
