The Egyptian President, Abdul-Fattah Al-Sisi, welcomed, on Saturday, the head of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj, and his deputies, Ahmed Mitig, Moussa Al-Kony and Fathy El-Majbary. The Egyptian Foreign Secretary, Sameh Shukry, and the Egyptian ambassador to Libya attended the meeting.
Al-Sisi confirmed his support to the PC and the Libyan Corporations, including the Libyan Army.
Al-Sisi said that the priority for Libya was to save the Libyan institutions and enable them to gain control on all of the Libyan Land to bring back the security.
From his side, Al-Sarraj said that the PC is keen to strengthen the notion of state and the social cohesion. He also confirmed that the PC of the Government of National Accord (GNA) is insisting on confronting the terrorist groups in Libya.
Al-Sarraj said that the PC is keen to cooperate with the Libyan neighboring countries in fighting the IS and all of the terrorist groups.
