The Vice President of the Presidential Council (PC), Fathy El-Majbary and the Government of National Accord (GNA) defense minister, El-Mahdi El-Barghathi, met, Wednesday, the head of European Mission to Libya, Natalya Abostolva, the head of political department, Ana Kweilo, the military advisor general, Mauro Amberzio, the defense adviser Brigadier, Morudi Vencenti, and the jurisdiction of integrated management of borders of EU mission, David Ramos.
El-Majbary met earlier El-Barghathi, the House of Representatives (HoR) member, Fath-Allah Saety, and the vice of the Italian ambassador, Abderia Marcilia. The meetings focused on fighting terrorism, supporting Libya across all political, economic and social fields.
Furthermore, El-Majbary met the Russian ambassador, Ivan Mulotkov, and discussed the means to develop capabilities of the Libyan army, update its weapons to fight the Islamic State (IS) and terrorist groups.
Both sides met, in Tunisia, beside Russian military attaché, Alexander Fomenko, the defense minister El-Mahdi El-Barghathi.
The meetings discussed the means to support the Government of National Accord (GNA) to resolve all problem it faces, to move forward with the political process.
Sources told Al-Wasat Website, that El-Majbary and El-Barghathi met the French ambassador, Antoine Sivan, and the military attaché, Brigadier-General Philip Dowar.
