In Tripoli, protestors chanted supportive slogans of the Government of National Accord (GNA) and the army, on Friday.
They demanded respecting legitimacy of the House of Representatives (HoR), not breaching the Political Agreement, and waiting the endorsement of the government by the HoR.
The State Council had convened and modified the Constitutional Declaration, which was refused by many and considered a breach of the Political Agreement and taking over of the HoR powers in the agreement.
On the other side, in Benghazi, protests were organized in Al-Keesh square and in Martyrs square in Tripoli, late on Friday, to denounce convention of the State Council and calling to consider the House of Representatives (HoR), the sole legislative power in Libya.
The protestors in Benghazi demanded the Presidential Council to announce its stance from forces affiliated to the Interim Government that fight terrorists and to push away controversial people from the scene.
