Heavy clashes broke out, Saturday, inside Tripoli between the central security sixth group and armed men affiliate to Sumood brigade, positioned in camp 77, opposite to Bab Azizziya camp, between Bab Bin Ghashir and Sedy Khalifa.

Witnesses said that clashes included Bab Bin Ghashir, Bu Salim, Sour road, and Jumhoria street, killing at least two from central security, and damaged cars and buildings located in the vicinity of the gunfire.

Informed sources said confrontations erupted as the sixth group demanded to extradite Lt. Abdul Muttalib Abu Rageba murderer, affiliated to Sumood brigade, while the latter refused such demand.

Abu Rageba was killed, on 12 March, while hunting down one fugitive.
