Al-Kaber met IMF delegate in Tunisia


The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) Governor, Seddeq Al-Kaber, economic experts and the manager of research and statistics department met, in Tunisia, International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegate.

They discussed, Sunday, issues concerning economic and financial situation inside Libya, in the light of consultations, coordination and technical support provided by international organization to the CBL.

Both parties exchanged number of point of views concerning monetary policies options that could be used to resolve current monetary and financial issues, to eventually lead to economic stability, according to CBL official Facebook page.

On another side, the President of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj met, Sunday, with representatives from International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, and discussed means to support the Government of National Accord (GNA), and the technical support needed for the government to face the ongoing economic crisis.
