Al-Zaatari insists on importance of cease fire to ease work of humanitarian organisations - Internet

The United Nations Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in Libya, Ali Al-Zaatari, called for cease fire and securing path for stranded civilians in conflict areas in Benghazi.

An UNSMIL statement, on Friday, stated that stranded families, especially in Qanfoda and Qwarsha, face shortage in electricity, food and medical supplies.

The mission reminded all rivals of respecting the international humanitarian law and urged them to present medical assistance to the wounded.

Al-Zaatari insisted on the importance of cease fire to ease the work of humanitarian organizations.
