    The headquarters of the unity for the Al-Watan party, in Tripoli, headed by the boycotting member of the General National Congress (GNC), who is a member of the talks’ team, Abdulrahman Al-Swihly was targeted 3 times on Friday by RPG shells that caused major damage in the building and another neighboring building.

    Al-Swihly said that the incident won’t deter him from supporting the political agreement and executing it. “This message isn’t personally sent to me but for anyone who works for saving this country out of its crisis”, he said.

    In a post on his Facebook page, Al-Swihly declared that no human causalities were recorded. He described the incident as a failure terrorist operation.

    The United Nations special envoy to Libya, Martin Kobler, denounced the incident saying that it isn’t accepted.

    “Attack on Al-Swihly’s office is an attack against all supporters of the Libyan Political Agreement and against all peace efforts in Libya”, Kobler tweeted. He reminded that the immediate endorsement of Government of National Accord (GNA) can stop the intimidation and violence.
