Kirby demands UAE to provide care for Libyan detainees

Kirby: UAE prevented US embassy from communicating with the Libyan detainees - Internet

United States state of department demanded authorities in Emirates (UAE) to provide legal consultations and medical care to the Libyan detainees, Kamal and Muhamed Darat.

The spokesperson of the US state of department, John Kirby, said, Tuesday, that “UAE authorities denied US embassy from communicating with the two detainees last October”.

He referred that Kamal Darat and his son spent 500 days at prisons with out any legal accusations.

UAE arrested nine Libyan businessmen, including two Libyans Americans, late August 2014, four were released in December.
