One man was killed after the Tunisian forces stood against 5 cars that crossed the isolating area in Ben-Gerdan, coming from Libya.

The Tunisian defense ministry said that the forces shot at the tires of the first car, which stopped then, while the other 4 returned to the Libyan lands, adding that the first car’s driver died of a bullet in the shoulder.

The official statement explained that cigarettes packs were found in the car, which was to be smuggled. It asserted that the drivers didn’t retreat after the warning shots.
