Coast guards intercept oil smuggling tanker


Libyan coast guards intercepted, Saturday, Sierra Leone flagged oil tanker, and two Tunisian flagged ships, while crossing Libyans marine western coasts.

Coast guard source in Tripoli, asked to remain anonymous, the tanker was loaded by smuggled Libyan oil and heading to Malta. The tanker carried foreign crew of nine persons, from Turkey, Ukraine, and Azerbaijan, beside million and 600 litter of smuggled oil.

The oil tanker and ships were escorted to marine base in Tripoli, investigation would start. Judiciary started investigations with crew members.
