EU considers sanctions against Libyan politicians

Diplomatic sources said, Tuesday, that the European Union is considering impose travel pan and assets freeze against two Libyan politicians, as they obstacle efforts of the United Nations to form the Government of National Accord (GNA).

Sources said that Nuri Abusahmain, the head of the General National Congress (GNC), and Khalifa Ghwail, the head of one competing government, might face sanctions next month, if diplomats reached a deal soon. Other names are being discussed.
