Italian governmental source told a media channel that Rome is ready for military action against the Islamic State group (IS) inside Libya, and willing to work with its allies on request from the Libyan government, within any frame specified by the United Nations.
Close sources to the Prime Minister said “we want clear road map to follow, this could happen within two or three weeks. It is done in agreement with the United States”.
“Before 29 of January, the new Libyan government should start its duties. The first path should be the political solution. And when we have reliable body in Libya we can deal with, then the military operations may start”, sources added.
