Kobler calls for temporarily ceasefire across Libya - Internet

The United Nations special envoy to Libya, Martin Kobler called  for humanitarian ceasefire in Benghazi, for one day or two every week to get humanitarian aid and medicine into the city.

He added, via his Twitter account, that the priority should be to expedite the political process, followed by unified strong military response led by Libyans against the Islamic State (IS), saying that the political process shouldn’t be slower than the military expansion of the IS.

Kobler called, in Rome conference, for temporarily ceasefire across Libya.

Benghazi is witnessing armed confrontation since mid- October 2014 between Dignity Operation and Benghazi revolutionaries council.
