Egypt welcomed, Tuesday, the formation of the Libyan Government of National Accord, calling the House of Representatives (HoR) to endorse the government according to articles stated in the political agreement struck in Skhirat.
the spokesperson for the Egyptian Foreign ministry ,Ahmed Abu Zaid, called, in a statement, all Libyan factions to continue efforts of national reconciliation, settling disputes and unite to fight terrorism and restore stability and peace inside Libya.
The Presidential Council announced the final formation of the unity government that aims to unite rival factions under a plan backed by the United Nations.
Western powers hope the new government would be able to stabilize the country, and fight growing threats of the Islamic State (IS).
