The Vice-President of the Presidential Council (PC) of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Abdel Salam Qajman, said that the latest statement issued from the Presidential Council concerning the Islamic State Group (IS) terrorist crimes wasn’t presented nor discussed in the Presidential Council of the GNA sessions.
Qajman added that “the statement is not consensual and doesn’t express the council’s view”. He pointed that the council is about to make inner list for organizing its work.
Qajman said that “the GNA is seeking to control media speeches. We don’t approve any attempts that will shuffle cards and link February revolutionaries to terrorist groups like the IS”.
This came in response to a statement issued by the Presidential Council condemning the IS crimes, confirming GNA’s attempt to end arms embargo, as soon as it is formed.
