Arab League condemns IS attacks in Libya


The Foreign Ministers of Arab League member countries condemned, in their urgent Sunday meeting, the attacks by the Islamic State group (IS) on Zliten city and Ras Lanuf oil field.

“The continuity of these situations in Libya endangers the regional and international security” the council remarked in the meeting, MENA reported.

It expressed support to Libya against the IS, calling on neighboring countries to help putting plan to save Libya from terrorism.

It called for accelerating forming the Government of National Accord in order to uphold its responsibilities.
