GNA resumes its meetings in Tunisia


The Government of National Accord (GNA) held its latest meeting in Tunisia, on Saturday, to revise latest developments concerning what was reached and future steps regarding agreements reached with political forces.

The meeting examined the decision making process inside the Presidency Council (PC) to choose the government members.

According to the Political Agreement, the GNA is supposed to lead a transitional period, 2 years at most, that is scheduled to be followed by legislative elections, expanding the Presidential Council to include 9 members; a chief, 5 deputies and 3 ministers of state.
