Egyptian police detains 66 before entering Libya

Border guards in the Egyptian Al- Salloum, in cooperation with the police department in Al- Salloum, managed to thwart attempt by Egyptian workers to infiltrate into Libya, using desert roads in the city.

General Al-Anany Hamouda said that “border guards arrested 66 workers trying to illegally infiltrate to Libya through desert routs and pistils in Al- Salloum”.

The detainees are: 14 from Beheira, 9 from Menia, 8 from Qenna, 2 from Fayoum, 3 from Sohag, 12 from Asyout, 5 from Kafr El-Sheikh, 3 from Alexandria, 3 from Bani Sweif, 2 from Asharquia, 1 from Cairo, 1 from Gharbya, 1 from Damietta, 1 from Qalubia and one Sudanese national.
