Al-Hassy: The pictures show the burning of one tank while seven tanks were hit - Internet

The spokesperson for the Petroleum Installations Guards, Ali Al-Hassy, denied what is said about the Islamic State (IS) control over oil tanks in Al-Sedra area, stressing the video posted by the group is old and due to Al-Shorouq Operation.

Al-Hassy mentioned that “the pictures show the burning of one tank, while seven tanks were hit and still affected till now, however the pictures show all tanks intact”.

The IS fighters used artillery and long-range missiles, and hit one of the tanks in Al-Sedra, said Al-Hassy.

Al-Hassy pointed to clashes in Ekheila valley, south west of Al-Sedra tanks, while confrontations continue, with Oil Installations Guards advancing and inflicting the IS losses and deaths in its ranks.
